Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 August 2026. Offly is a free offline media player for iPhone and iPad. This page describes how the app handles your media and device information.
Offly does not create an account for you. It does not upload your films, albums, or lectures to an Offly cloud. The library lives on the device, or in folders you choose to link.
Media library
When you import a file, Offly stores a copy in its on-device library so you can play it offline. Artwork, titles, artists, and playback position are kept with that library on the device.
When you link a folder, including iCloud Drive, Offly remembers how to reach that folder and indexes the titles it finds. Those files stay where you put them. Offly plays them in place and does not copy them onto the iPhone just to list them.
Wi-Fi sharing
Share via Wi-Fi starts a local web page on your phone so a Mac or PC on the same network can send files and edit playlists. That page is for your local network. It is not a public internet service. Keep Offly open while the session is running. Guest networks often block the connection.
Apple system features
CarPlay, Siri, Shortcuts, widgets, AirPlay, Picture in Picture, and the Music app import use Apple system APIs. Title names and playback state may appear on the lock screen, in CarPlay, or in a widget so those features can work. Apple may process that information under Apple’s own policies.
What Offly does not collect
Offly does not run a sign-in screen. It does not include a third-party analytics SDK for tracking how you tap through the app. It does not sell your library.
Installing from TestFlight or the App Store is handled by Apple. Apple may collect standard App Store or TestFlight information as described in Apple’s privacy documentation.
Children
Offly is a general-audience media player. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents who imported a child’s files onto a shared device can delete those files from the library or unlink the folder at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change. Keep using Offly only if the current policy still makes sense for how you keep your files.
